This year's California Young Reader Medal books are outstanding!
The nominees for middle school are: Heat, Hattie Big Sky and Rules.
The nominees for high school are: Life as we Knew It, Daniel Half-Human and Sold.
Students who read all three books in one category and submit a ballot by March 27 will get extra credit in their language arts class and will be invited to a pizza party in the library.
